Program Description

Master of Arts in Learning and Technology

The Master of Arts in Learning and Technology is a two-year, 33-credit program that responds to the demand for qualified professionals who have the knowledge and skills to lead the planning, design, development, implementation and evaluation of contemporary learning environments. Graduates of this program will be able to work in the creation and evaluation of digital learning environments and apply theoretical and practical knowledge to critically analyze learning innovations and assess their impact on organizations and society.

This program is the first master of arts degree in Canada to go textbook-free. Students can access all of the course materials through open educational resources, e-books, journal articles and other free digital resources. These types of courses are know as "Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC)" and aim to improve access to education and enhance student outcomes.
