Program Description

Bachelor of Science in Environmental Practice

Advance your environmental career or move into a new exciting career in the environmental professions. The environmental practice programs at Royal Roads University can help you develop the skills, knowledge, and connections you need to succeed.

The BSc in Environmental Practice (BScEP) program is a third and fourth year, 60-credit degree-completion option delivered entirely online. You can take from one to three courses at a time enabling you to complete the program at your own pace.

This BScEP is a flexible program that allows you to personalize your learning experience based on your personal and professional interests. Study sustainable and interdisciplinary approaches to environmental sciences, policy, management, and more, so you can implement and inspire effective change.

This program and the Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Practice were developed in partnership with ECO Canada (Environmental Careers Organization of Canada). The Bachelor in Environmental Practice curriculum aligns with established environmental career paths and fulfills the academic requirements for Environmental Professional (EP) certification consistent with National Occupational Standards.
